Rabbi Erin Hirsh is a nationally-known Jewish educator who has worked with Reform, Conservative, Renewal, Reconstructionist, and secular Jewish communities throughout North America. Rabbi Erin currently serves as the founding director of NEXT: the Professional Learning Program for Supplementary School Teachers of Gratz College. Prior to this position, Rabbi Erin served as Director of Education for the Reconstructionist Movement. Rabbi Erin directed two congregational schools in the greater Philadelphia area for over a decade. In addition to school and congregational environments, Rabbi Erin has taught and worked in informal Jewish settings such as overnight camps and youth groups. Rabbi Erin writes both formal and experiential curriculum for elementary age children, teens, families and adults. A graduate of Vassar College and the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College, Rabbi Erin’s rabbinate is dedicated to ensuring that Jewish education is engaging, relevant and meaningful for everyone involved.
